Abstract: Trend E-Commerce as Cyberculture
Currently e-commerce has
become a trend in the society
along with the increasing use of internet in life.
Most of the Indonesian internet users use the
internet for social networking purposes, including
accessing Facebook. E-commerce
media is so diverse.
One of them is by using facebook.
The issues
raised in this penlitian
include e-commerce linkage with cyberculture,
reasons for use facebook as a medium of e-commerce, the
advantages and disadvantages of
using facebook as a medium of
e-commerce,
facebook commerce and current trends.
The method used in this study is a qualitative ethnographic
approach in order to gain an understanding of the trend of e-commerce as
cyberculture. And to answer the focus
problems of data analysis
techniques used by Miles and Huberman.
From the
research it was found that the trend of e-commerce
has become the
lifestyle of today's society. Faceboook
is selected as the e-commerce because of the number of facebook users is so
large. In addition, because Facebook provides a wide
variety of applications add to the
advantage in doing e-commerce, such as convenience and cost savings. While the disadvantages of using facebook is susceptible
fraud, item purchased not in accordance with the drawings, and the unilateral
cancellation. Although facebook has a lot of number of users and
applications offered also vary, but along with the development of technology,
it is quite tempting the perpetrators of f-commerce for
media switch to
smartphone chat application and online trading
sites.
